The photo galleries on the site are a myriad of nature's images gathered over the last few years from my worldly travels. I am drawn to the light found at the edge - where water meets rock and shoreline - where transitions occur between one state and another.
Trees speak to my eye - bark texture, branch landscapes, light bouncing through their leaves. The frost gallery is dedicated to frozen water, dew on an my 108-year-old window in the dead of winter, 30 degrees below. While photographing frost, I recognized a correlation between the focus found in playing tablas - the dropping down inside a quiet place - was also present with the moment found at the window between myself, the camera, the light and the frozen dew.
